As part of the contract, every babysitter/childcare worker is personally vetted and interviewed by Julie (where practical interviews are face to face). Each and every babysitter/childcare worker has a full background check including at least two references and their qualifications (Julie insists on seeing original documents). First Aid and CRB certificates are checked for validity as are all driver licences.

Why do we do all these checks? To give you peace of mind when you interview candidates knowing all the background checks have already been done and you are interviewing genuine, qualified candidates.

We can supply a babysitter at your home, if you are visiting friends in the area or staying at a local hotel.
All babysitters have been recruited from childcare and other caring professions most have years of professional childcare experience and most are professionally qualified nannies or nursery nurses, but all have childcare experience. On our register there are also a number of primary school teachers, pediatric nurses, child welfare officers and others from childcare related professions. A thorough interviewing process and follow-up ensure that parents will be comfortable leaving their child in the capable hands of the babysitter, so parents can have a well deserved break.
Babysitting at home If you are looking for a regular babysitting service or for occasional use, then I can supply a service for you.

Babysitter rates are guided on national minimum wage, but we do have a minimum sitting fee of £20. Please note rates vary on bank holiday’s e.g. – New Years Eve, Easter etc
Hotel babysitting Staying at a Hotel in the area?
We can supply a uniformed babysitter to sit with the children in the room, while you enjoy a quiet evening in or out of the hotel. Please call for fees.
NB It is an offence to leave a child alone when doing so puts the child at risk…
The NSPCC recommend that most children under 13 should not be left alone and that no child under the age of 16 should be left overnight. Leaving children alone includes Baby listening/monitoring services and hotel corridor patrol services.
